A History of Growth and Purpose

Over 15 years building a benchmark company in the Peruvian food industry.

2007
Foundation

The Beginning of LON

Identifying an opportunity in the legumes, grains and cereals market, Oscar Pajares formally founded Corporación LON S.A.C. on October 11 — launching a business focused on importing, marketing and distributing food products.

First Import

Team & First Operations

New partners joined to strengthen strategic vision. LON made its first import — green peas. Operations began from a 1,000 m² plant in Ate, where machinery was later incorporated to improve efficiency.

Growth & New Alliances

Commercial ties began with Costeño, cementing LON's reputation as a reliable supplier. To meet growing demand, the team was expanded for selection processes — initially carried out manually on wooden tables.

2012
Retail Expansion

Tottus, Mayorsa & Tesoro Verde

Services began for major clients such as Tottus and Mayorsa, driving packaging as a new business line. Tesoro Verde, LON's second brand, was launched — expanding retail presence.
